Did you use a soundtrack ? If so, don't put music in the background.

Hi Chuck,
I don't know if you still have your beautiful boat for sale and I may not be able to move on purchasing her as quick as I'd like but its worth me touching base with ou.
I'm a father of 3 and my wife and I took 7 years of cruising, thinking it impossible with 3 kids . Difficult yes bot impossible no way, I am looking to find a resonably priced boat to give it a try with the family. I notice you have a place to rent also whilst working on the boat. So it would all work out great but I am only in the planning stages , but your boat has got the wife and I very excited and if shes still for sale and we can somehow find the money we would be very interested, Drop me a line either way all the best Lee.
tel France 0033254286731 lee@tri-topia.com this is the first time using the forum so I enclose my details incase I get no reply through the site. I'm not great on the computer thing .

To all the folks out there that think you can't buy a great boat and go cruising without being "rich" this boat proves that line of thinking to be total BS! Grab this baby and Ka-Boom head south and quit your excuses! If this one is sold, which I can't imagine it not being like NOW, then keep looking because these types of classic plastic boats are everywhere out there, cheap and waiting for your excuses to finally run out!

That's a true statement Rich but you're forgetting that it is easier to come onto a forum and state..."I'm looking for the next deal" or "It has to be a Benehuntalina 492X". Sadly many people will never venture much past the dream stage. Maybe social conditioning...I don't know.
That said, I see many of these boats out cruising. Nice lines and they seem sound if taken care of. For the price, it would be an excellent choice. Most of these I have seen start at $35K and not in this shape and then go up from there.

Hello!
You sold this boat or not? I wanted to buy it, but I hope for a small discount. And you can help me with sending this yacht to Indonesia by Ro-Ro?

We were eating dinner at Nervous Nellies this evening and saw this Islander 36 motor sailing under the bridge. From a distance she looks fantastic!

Re: 1978 36 foot Islander Freeport. Plan B for sale $19,990
Wow. That's cool. Glad you spotted her. I was taking a gentleman out that had driven down from South Carolina that day. The tide was up so out we went. This am a deal was struck and Perrovida has a potential new owner. Ed took me up on my offer to deliver so on or about august 7. She will pass one more time under the fort myers beach bridge under my command.
I will be headed for Beaufort SC. Going solo as usual. Going to head down to marathon to get to the east coast then head out into the stream and ride that before turnin port to SC.
I will be installing a battery bank and new 12 volt refer system for the new owner. Also will be replacing a couple of the 120 volt outlets with GFI Units. I will do a overall check of the rigging, steering. Systems. Bring some food and diesel on board and off I will go. I am very excited to be going on one last cruise with my first love.
Thanks to the CF and a couple of folks for there positive comments. Chuck
