1974 Morgan OI41

We are selling "Hafa Adai" to downsize. We purchased her almost a year ago, and since then have put much work into her. She was to be our cruising boat, but we realized she's too big for my wife to ever be comfortable with, so live and learn... Everything I've done has been to the highest standard, as I did it with the thought of her being my home for the next several years.

Here is a partial list of what I've done since I purchased her: New paragon P200 transmission, new injector pump, injectors, heat exchanger, transmission cooler, rebuilt top end of engine, new fuel system including 6-series aluminum fuel tank, 4 Trojan T-145's, new propex plumbing, Raritan water heater, new propane system with sniffer and solenoid, grill, solar, NOCO 40A charger, rebuilt hydraulic steering in pedestal, sound deadening in engine room, recent bottom job (Dec'14).

Her Perkins 4-108 has 1550hrs. We sail her every week, and she sails surprisingly well. Spinnaker pole is setup on it's own track on the front of the mast. 10 sails come with the boat (3 spinnakers). Huge amount of spares, too much to list (2 alternators, tons of rigging, blocks, hose, line, safety equip, life raft, etc). Everything comes with boat.

Offered at $55,000 USD. I've got over $70k into her. Lots of reciepts.

This forum helped me immensely, and continues to fuel my dream. Thank you all.

Re: 1974 Morgan OI41

I'm not sure how to edit the first post, so I'll add information here:

The boat is located in Marina Del Rey, Ca in a transferable slip.

I am willing to deliver under terms outside of sale. Prospective buyers can speak to me about that privately. I am a licensed USCG captain and ex-submarine navigator.

The topside was painted in 2013. The color is called 'Caribbean camouflage' and I have 1/2 gal in boat.

  • Price Drop:

$49,000

This will most likely be the last post on here, as we have gotten a lot of response at this price. Great liveaboard, very comfy. I've done most of the hard work.

Wingnut - Still got her. We're replacing the settee cushions now (new foam and fabric). I'm willing to look at offers if anyone is interested.
