1969 Westerly Nomad 22 bilge keel pocket cruiser So Cal

1969 Westerly Nomad Bilge Keel Pocket Cruiser
22 ft.
Super rare and hard to come by in The U.S. …especially in such good condition. She is a wonderful , safe , sailing machine as well as an incredibly comfortable tiny home.
Lloyd's of London Bulletproof hull
Bilge keels and keel bolts in excellent condition.
large sail inventory:
North Main (needs new hanks sewn on)
jib
storm jib
genoa
spinnaker with pole and hardware
all new running rigging
standing rigging in great shape
all running light lights work (masthead needs a new bulb)
incandescent lighting throughout interior
Cybernet CTX 2400 VHF radio
Navman navigation system (have not tried)
brand new flexible water tank (approx 25 gallons) and whale foot pump to galley sink
Thetford Porta Potty in head : plumbed for marine toilet if you choose to install.
Danforth anchor and sufficient rode
plenty of spare lines , PDF's etc etc
needs new v-berth cushions

The Westerly Nomad is incredibly roomy , strongly built cruiser for size. Her Flush decks give an enormous amount of livable space below. I am 6'2 and have lived aboard comfortably for the last 3 months. I have had numerous sailboats , and this girl has the room of any 26 footer out there.
Very CHEAP marina fees , since she is only 22 ft.
2 , 7 ft. long quarter berths in salon
large workable galley area with TONS of storage , sink , ice box and place for a stove.
enclosed head with storage /closet across .
and v-berth forward

She is in great , solid condition and just needs slugs sewn on the mainsail to be able to be sailing tomorrow.
Also , she has no motor. She can easily be rowed or sculled …but the addition of an outboard bracket and small (2-4 hp) outboard would be nice.

She is located in Marina Del Rey , Ca. The slip is NOT transferable …but the Marina has many other slips available.

Also , her bilge keels allow her to be trailered very easily on any normal 12 ft. long flatbed.

asking $2900. or reasonable best offer.
