1967 Cheoy Lee-Built Rhodes Reliant Yawl

Classic Phillip Rhodes design, this beautiful yacht is rigged for world cruising. She has spent the last year sailing halfway around the world and is ready to keep going. Sturdy and safe blue water design in good condition.

Details:
Year built: 1967
LOA: 41 feet
Beam: 10 feet
Draft: 6 feet full keel; lead ballast
Sailplan: yawl
Engine: Perkins 4-107 (40 hp)
Hull: fiberglass

Features:
Three cabin layout with offset companionway. Teak decks and teak topsides.

Boat underwent major refit in 2004, including new teak decks, aluminum spars, new standing rigging with stay-loc fittings, hull completely deblistered and an new 4mm layer of fiberglass added below the waterline.

Second refit in 2008 with fully rebuilt engine and transmission (by Trans-Atlantic Diesels in Virginia, USA), new water tanks, new fuel tank, new holding tank, new waterlines, new seacocks, new propane fittings on stove.

Boat hauled out in November 2010, fresh Jotun bottom paint applied, new topside varnish.

Equipment:
Standard Horizon CP300i chartplotter, Sitex radar, fishfinder, Standard Horizon VHF.
Hard bottom dinghy, 3.3 hp mariner outboard motor.
Hydrovane self-steering wind vane.
Revere 4 person liferaft (certified until 12-12)
Full set of spare filters and tools to keep the boat going.
35 lb Delta working anchor with 200 ft chain, 2 spare danforth anchors, 1 fisherman’s anchor

Sails:
Main, mizzen, mizzen staysail, storm jib, hank-on headsails: 75%, 100%, 125%, 150%. Parachute anchor.


Current location: Galle Harbor, Sri Lanka.

Beautiful boat; a classic. What are you asking for her? I am in Hawaii and want to buy a boat further west where I can keep her out there.

WOW,

Don't know how I missed this OP. Own, and love my Reliant. Classic 60's design, fast but a little wet on the wind.
Philip Rhodes reported said that this was his favourite piece of work.
Having gutted mine, and completely restoring the boat, I think I can say that the price asked can not be any where near what the stated work cost the seller.

Boat is currently in Galle, Sri Lanka, possibly headed to Thailand, possibly headed to Oman.
