The Enduro series is by far the dominate make/model here in the NW Carib. Readily available parts and service. If you plan to cruise here this is THE motor you want.

The only downside is that they are very popular w the locals too and thus are the most likely motor to be stolen. I bought a brand new one last year and felt like it had "steal me" written on it. Lock it up!

Re: 15hp Yamaha Enduro Outboard

You can't buy a two stroke anything in the US anymore. Pollution regulations forbid it.
The Enduro is a third world work horse two stroke and can be purchased for about $1500 in the carib.

Thanks for that, yes I'm aware that the 2 strokes can't be bought in NA but when we get to the Caribbean I'm going to buy one

Good question, how much is the 15Hp Yamaha 2-stroke in the Carib?

I can find Nissan/Tohatsu 15HP 2-stroke for ~2500 @ budgetmarine or islandwaterworld

Re: 15hp Yamaha Enduro Outboard

I've never been able to find a 2 stroke Yami 15hp new on the net. Like you I've seen the Tohatsu 15 2 stroke which I'd take if I had to but I much prefer the Yami

Hi Guys,
I am going to pick one up in the Abaco's or Freeport in a few months. Here is a message with price from the dealer there. There is an online advertised sale price in Australia now for $2250 Aus or $ 2500 reg price.
Brisbane Yamaha | YAMAHA OUTBOARD PRICES/SALES
So in seems to correspond.
Canada is a good bet but It had better be on a boat bringing it back and even then. Puerta Rico , Mexico etc... anywhere but the US pretty much. And if it is in the US definately not allwed on inland waters on models after 2002 I think it is.

Good luck,
Capt Rick

Good Morning Rick, Thanks for the note.

Current pricing is $2450.00 for the 15Short.

We have them available and will hold one for you with a $500 deposit.

Unfortunately due to US customs we are not able to drop ship any 2-stroke motoros to the US.

Let me know if you would like to reserve one for your upcoming trip.

Regards

Stephen

If you look at the original post from osirissail He/she has never replied to any inquiry for over a year. The first one (inquiry) was not until 5 mo after it's posting. Some posts with matcy and aother interested buyer crossed 5 m after the post confusing who the seller was. If osirissail did not sellthis engine in two weeks it was really an anchor.
This post has evolved to what it is Finding a hard to find engine due to US EPA laws
