To all cladding removers. I managed tp get the upper part of the cladding out using clothpins. Just push them in on the aluminium rail, one after another, and finally you will squeeze have the rail loose. The rail is screwed to little wooden pads glued to the hull. does not take much effort to get them out. Then, using clothpins again, you just start to squeeze the cladding up until it pops out of the aluminium rail. Start pulling until it has come loose. Then, squeeze it down, take it out, and hide in a safe place. There is nothing on the upper side to keep it in place - it is pushed against the lintel with (again) pieces of
wood.
You will see that you can (just) reach the putting irons and the middle cleat. I removed the cladding to re-attach those.
There is not much room between cladding and hull. There is no
insulation either.
