system battcars2

hello
I am the owner of FP Helia44 2014
I would like to add battcar for mainsail between tack and 1-st reef and between 1-st reef and 2-nd reef.
Do you know what is the factory of this battcar?
This is not my foto, only to show.

Thank you

Re: system battcars2

They look the same as mine which I believe are Harken, although for the life of me I cannot seem to find them online to send you a link. They could also be this:

Short Batten Car for Z-Spar RCB Track: Z-3485AT:
Batten Car designed for use with Masts using Z-Spar Full Batten Mast Track that is 24.7mm (<1") wide. Car incorporates fully articulating toggle with 10mm threaded stud (22mm long) for batten attachment. Car rides on Torlon Ball Bearings to provide high strength and low friction at a minimum weight. Extruded Aluminum Car has fully machined races, requiring no end caps. Car is 85mm (3 3/8") long x 61mm (2 3/8") wide. Short Batten Car uses forty-four (44) Torlon ball bearings....which you will find here;

Z-Spar Batten Cars

If you can't find them, PM me and I'll look at the spares I have to give you a part number.

They come with a 6" section of track. You should have a small removable piece of track insert just above the gooseneck. Lift all the other slides up, remove the insert, replace with new insert and slide new battcar up to join the others. Be careful adding the extra slide as all of the balls will come flying out if you don't keep them contained.

While very similar, that's not a Z-Spar Z-3485AT. The central swivel is different.

I need one of these on my 2017 Helia 44. Search on the web and come up empty. Th central swivel can be different (as in the previous photo as long as it fits the mast track (25mm) and the treads (8mm).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott
