Lavezzi 40: Spar manufacturer for 2007 Lavezzi / Rigger recommendation in PR

Help!

We are currently in Samana in the Dominican Republic. During our last passage, the end cap on the outboard end of our boom shattered. This is the casting that houses the sheeves around which pass the outhaul and reefing lines and on which is attached the topping lift.

I think that we can limp to Puerto Rico, dropping the main entirely to put in and take out reefs.

I cannot find a maker's mark on the boom or mast extrusions or on what is left of the casting itself so I cannot order the part. Does anyone know who made the spars on 2007 model Lavezzi?

BTW, can anyone reccomend a rigger in PR?

Could be Z spar now named Difusion,, another option could be VMG Soromap, this 2 are the biggest mast makers for lots of French production builders in the price range, Sparcraft is a bit expensive and I don't believe is fitted in your multi OEM ....Cheers.

I think you will find it is zspar. I have dealt with the U.K. Guys and they where great I think the us distributor is

US Spars will be able to hook you up with it. Likely have it in stock. It is not hard to change. I don't know anything about customs in the DR but you likely could have it Fed Exed to you there.
