We owned a 2015
Lipari Evolution before
purchasing our Saona.
It is a solid
boat and
sails well. The things that I would keep an eye on during the sea trial are:
1. Escape
hatch. Ours developed small
leaks. FP sent replacement hatches, but we
sold the
boat before we had them installed.
2.
Water heater. Ours developed an internal leak after only 3 years. We kept hearing the
water pump cycle as the leak slowly emptied the accumulator tank. It would pool in the
engine compartment until it caused the
bilge pump to activate. While they are under warranty for a period, we were told that we would have to uninstall the tank and ship it to the manufacturer for a pressure test before they would replace it.
3.
Rudder posts and
steering arm attachment. Over time the shear pins used to lock these together would wear causing a bit if play.
Other than these small issues, we were very happy with our Lipari while we sailed her.
