Refrigerator Door

Hi,

I have a Tobago 35, with the side opening nice shiny silver door.

The door is pretty awful as far as effectiveness to keep the heat out and the cold in. I cruise full time in the Caribbean right now, and the door/frame has condensation on it every morning, and the door is pretty cool to the touch. Needless to say, I know my amp hours are running out that door quicker than I can put them back in.....

I presume this door was used on a number of FP models. I know the Tobago has some top load and some side load models of their fridge/ice box. The door is about 2'x2' (maybe slightly bigger), and is all nice pretty shiny stainless steel.

So, the question is, has anyone done anything with this door to improve it. As in, replace it, or anything else?

I would love any insight people have on it as I need to get this issue resolved as I have been living with it for 3 years now and its time to fix it .
