Port side salon window (fixed) comming loose

Dear All,
I noticed, when under sail, an anoying squeeching sound comming from the port side hull, and i could not identify its exact source. First I though it was from the wood work in the forward cabin, but it was not. I found out that the bottom part of the large salon window is partialy comming loose from its black (rubber) fixing. With the boat in movement the policarbonate window rubs against the rubber fixing and makes this noise. Now, before I pull a "McGyver" and grab the sicaflex gun and fill it up... Did anyone had this same issue? What are sugestions for fixing it (rather then taking out the whole window and replace the rubber seal, which prob would be best, but right now i cannot execute this) So i am looking for a descent quick fix.
Thanks for your input.
Best rgds

Pieter,

As a temporary fix you can put some Clear Boatlife Life Seal in an epoxy syringe and pump it into the rubber areas against the polycarbonate window. We have used this method in the past to seal small leaks and it works very well.

In the future when you do a more permanent fix, this post below may help.

Thank you very much for yr comments. Unfortunately these kind of items are hard to find here in Brazil. I will try to get this sealant one way or another. Thanks again.
