All the figures I gave are with standard factory rigging and ıncidence sails, no folding prop, no spinnaker, whatsoever, but with perfectly clean bottom. In the area where I navigated there rarely is any kind of current more than 1 knot/hour and the readings are speed on water not SOG. (which I assume GPS reading could be a knot or perhaps 1,5 knot below, in case of down wind sailing)

The issue has been discussed several times: I was told to keep the gear disengaged and fully pushed down to bottom in reverse. In that case there is no noise / vibration form the sail drive and I can do 0,5-1 knots more under sail.

As far as I know, all new FP's are coming now with standard top square main and if they didn't decreased the total sail area, they could even perform better.

Happy hollidays and nice sailings..
