I have found many of the non-board cruising cats to sail comfortably 110. But less so if the sea is big enough. Not all though, e.g. old Deans and Leopards did not. FP did as did Lagoons.



Cats with boards tend to sail as close as monos. But often the choice is to ease the sheets a bit and go faster, wider. You get to the upwind place at the same ETA just you slam less.
