Anyone have any photos and sizes of the Owners side holding tanks? I am trying to get some capacity gauges.

Here is a photo of the Port side guest head tank as fitted to our. Size 80cm high and 30 cm wide.

looks the same as the one on the Mahe - 45L. Not really big enough.

I fitted a probe and gauge recently. The holding tank probes do not seem to come in a wide range of lengths. I think the one I got was 500mm and the tank is about 700.

It is no big deal as the tank tapers and the reading would not be accurate anyway. You just need to test calibrate it at 50%, 75% etc.

The tank has a mark on it showing 50% capacity.

Thought I would post what I have fitted a Holding tank level meter to my Lipari. Very nice bit of kit. Very simple and easy to fit.

It came from Ferriellosales.com. I think it was called a Display Solo. It uses 2 foil sensors that are stuck to the outside of the tank.

Looks simple and is relatively cheap. No idea how foil stuck to outside of tank works but assume from yr comment that it does. Any tips or ticks to installing?

Very easy to fit. Works well enough. Only shows Empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and Full. They have a model with an alarm at 80% but I didn't bother. They only work when you push the button, so they effectively draw no power until you push the button to display. Biggest issue was finding a suitable 12 volt supply in the mass of wires under the sink.

Paid off big time over Christmas when we had elderly mother in law staying with us who just couldn't get that you don't need to fill and flush 5 times every time you use it. Filled 40 ltr in 2 days.

Overall cheap, simple to operate, easy to fit, no moving parts, very low power usage, good price.

I will try and get some photos of my install and post on the weekend.

Great will order one. Have found that if it is full just goes out the overflow but not pleasant for the neighbours!
Assume could use the 12v feed for an electric toilet that is in there somewhere but not connected. I haven't accessed the owners side tank but assume it is behind the mirror.

Not yet. I have one in the box waiting, I thing it's about 15th on the list of jobs to do. The tank doesn't look much different just getting the wall and mirror off may be fun

Let me know when you do. That's the only panel on board I haven't removed.

Also I have just tried to replace the push button on the shower to a toggle switch only to find that the glass there is about 12mm thick. Means the switch I bought is not long enough to go through and screw the rubber cap on The existing switch is only a push in sealed with Sica, with 2 blade connectors on the back. Very simple change once I get the right size switch.

We changed out the Shower sump pump push button to a water tight on off switch. It is much easer to use now.

That was what I was trying to do. Problem is the glass is so thick the switch wont stick out far enough to get the washer and nut on. I will have to find a switch that sticks out further.

Hi Cotemar, don't you have a "timer" on the OEM button ?
I do have more or less 30sec "ON" when i pushed it, and then after theses 30sec the pump automatically stops...

The upgrade for black water is very usefull, I'll do this winter, hope i can have it sent to france...
