Hatch Identification

We need to replace gaskets on our hatches and are having trouble identifying the exact models of Goiot hatches and ports installed on Yachtsman's Dream. We don't want to order incorrect gaskets as most suppliers won't refund our money. Unfortunately, we are away from the boat at the moment and don't have all pertinent measurements.

Southern Seas Marine (www.southernseasmarine.com.au) and Rig Rite (www.rigrite.com) web sites have been helpful but don't definitively identify the hatches because the various lines have similar looking models. RigRite says "Goiot Evolution Hatches were produced from 1993 to 2001." Since our Belize is a 2003 model year, I would not expect that line to have been installed unless FP bought a huge supply in 2001. Yet, some of the pictures look exactly like the ones we have installed.

Can anyone correct the entries in this table?
Hatch/Port location Model+ Size
Main Deck Hatches (over beds) Cristal 19
Forward Saloon Cristal 44
Side Ports Evolution 26.11PR
Head Integration 27C
Escape hatches Cristal 54

Current stay time for a post on the "Recent Threads Page" is about 1 hour and 15 minutes so I suspect my original post in this thread scrolled off that page before anyone who cares saw it. Hence this "reply" to bring it back up. My apologies in advance if this violates forum etiquette or rules.

Re: Hatch Identification

I put this together, haven't looked at it in several years. My boat is the owner's version. (the yellow highlighting is apparently parts I ordered at one point in time)

Re: Hatch Identification

John,

I ordered gasket materials from Rig-Rite (Goiot Hatches & Ports).

Other information attached that might be helpful.

Re: Hatch Identification

Pete,

So did I. The box came two days ago. Now I get to look forward to installing the gaskets. Boat ownership is SOOO much fun!
