General Info: Fountaine Pajot 56 Catamaran

Does anyone know what ever happened with the new 56 that fountaine pajot was coming out with ?r

Are you sure about that. I have the 2011 Multihulls World buyers guide and I checked the FP website and there's no mention of it at all. Where'd you hear this? BOB

it was listed with both Aeroyachts and Bay yacht agency. was also listed in yachtworld for a while thru aeroyacht

56 will definately be launched and displayed (probably) in Paris in December 2011. I have the early draft drawings but cannot share. It's a beauty, the list price will be slightly below 1 Mio €.

thanks Yeloya, it seems that all I needed was to wait a day and i would receive my answer from fountaine pajot! I inquired a while back about it and just received a letter and very nice brochure of the catamaran. very nice looking to say the least! It will be 57' and is called SANYA 57. They did not give an exact date of the official launching just saaid it will be very soon. And as you stated base price will be around 1 mil euros

So are they discontinuing the Eleuthera?

all of their wording says in addition to and fills the void between the Salina 48 and their flagship series. so nothing indicates that it will be discontinued

My guess is that they will discontinue Euleuthra once the new 56 is launched. Eulethra is a very nice boat but old design with no full rigid bimini and unless they create a "Euleuthra evolution", it will be over. I am not sure but it seems that Euleuthra sales have been way behind the expectations anyway..
