How much room is there between the hulls for a dinghy?

We have a 3.1 metre RIB which is about the maximum I would recommend (about 90 kg including the 6 hp outboard).The only problem with the dinghy is the liferaft gets in the way when hoisting and lowering and the tube rests on the LR container when stowed. We have since relocated the LR to the deck under the helm seat.
