Bump Strip
Hi all you FP experts out there.
Can some one tell me who is the supplier of the bump strips on FPs?
I need to replace one side on my Lavezzi.

Re: Bump strip
I know it seems obvoius, and disregard if you have already done this, but have you tried emailing a service center? Seems like they'd be able to help?
FP Australia has a facebook page, a posting on their might get you an answer as well.

Re: Bump strip
Thanks, I try and avoid dealing with the factory their prices are a bit excessive for me.
Also I've been waiting two years for a response to my last email so I'd like to get an answer a little bit sooner if possible.

Re: Bump strip
Is a bump strip a rub rail?
Are you sure it was factory supplied? I know mine was installed afterwards. It has saved me many, many dings - love it.

Re: Bump strip
Hi Palarran,
yes bump strip or rub rail may be the correct naval term. I'm pretty sure it is factory fitted as it ends up fitting into the metal engine bay scoop at the back.

Re: Bump strip
Definitely from the factory. it covers the join between the hull and the deck.
There is a thread about leaks under the strip with the usual fantastic help from Cotemar.

Re: Bump Strip
I will put the feelers out to see if I can locate who makes the FP rub rail.

Re: Bump Strip
I'd love to know what you find on the rub rail. I have a Belize 43 and only need about 4 ft. of the blue rubber bumper that slips into the aluminum channel

Re: Bump Strip
The guy at RubRails.com seems to have the sections that we are after.
