Of course I remember you. I follow you on Facebook Event planning! What could have been hit harder, but you seem to have adapted remarkably. After our aborted trip to the
Bahamas on my new Saona 47 last year due to Covid we sailed it north to
Annapolis during
hurricane season. When I arrived, four months into Covid, I realized it might last another four months so I
sold it for what I paid (less a healthy commission), bought a house on the lake in the mountains and a
Jeanneau 349 in
San Diego. I think the 42 may be the perfect
boat. My thinking that the 47 would be like my
Beneteau Sense 50 was bad thinking. The 47 is so big that berthing and handling was a chore. I like the 42 with an inside
helm much better than the 40, 45 and now the new 47. I know you will love your Astrea. They are very complex with lots of systems and most of us had significant teething issues. Enjoy!
