yellow square

Sometimes I suddenly see a yellow square around a waypoint. I don't know what I did when it popped up. But I also don't know what to do to remove it.

Something very simple I assume?

Hi Aart,
Strange. Maybe something to do with too sensitive contacts in your mouse-buttons? (because it's normal to get these yellow squares when you click on a waypoint).

Hi Roel,

I understand it when I dubbelclick (or use the right mouseclick) on a waypoint I see the properties and then the selected waypoint gets a yellow square. But how to wipe it out again?

Hallo Aart,

Have you tried to just click somewhere else on the map (not on a waypoint or other point). That should do the trick and make the yellow square disappear.

Hmm... does it happen only with regular waypoints or also with waypoints that are loaded in a layer? Can you post a screenshot?

Well, I tried but cannot reproduce that strange behaviour. And I really don't know how to solve it .

It seems you may be in "Touch screen" mode, and the waypoint is highlighted as a selection.

Touch anywhere else on the screen, and the highlight disappears.
