Do you have the OpenCPN Draw plugin on the Windows laptop?

The yellow line and green arc might have been created with the OCPN Draw plugin. Perhaps an EBL and a Guard Zone which were created in a previous OpenCPN session. These can be persistent and OCPN Draw will put them on the screen every time you run O on that computer.

If OCPN Draw created the line and arc, it can remove them.

Found it, it was a landfall alarm in the watchdog plugin. Thanks, thought I'd been through all the plug ins but must have missed that one.
