What Toolbar style should be default in 3.2?

For the next OpenCPN release I have made the User Interface easier to modify. You will be able to specify sizes, colors and icon bitmaps through a simple XML configuration file. All UI icons are also merged into a single easily editable PNG file.

Using this new "Styling" tool I have done a couple of new styles for the toolbar. UI Style is easily changeable through a menu in the Toolbox, but one of the styles need to be default for new installations or upgrades. The question is which? This is very much a question of personal taste.

I am not sure what people fancy around here, so I thought it could be fun to see which would be the most popular to have as default in new installs. Let the flame wars begin !!

The first, called "Traditional", is basically the 3.0 icons, but with some small modifications due to different underlying technology (notice the more noticeable toggled state):

The first new one, which I call "Journeyman Flat", is a more modern flat gray scale thing:

And the second one, called just "Journeyman", is similar but with a 3D raised effect:

Can we have the option of removing icons from the toolbar? There are several I haven't used in more than 2 years of using the software

Very good to get a more flexible system.
I consider the most important change is to be able to adjust the size of icons and text for different sized screens. Good that the "pressed" state is more visible.

I fancy the 3.0 standard "Traditional" best though. (Alternative 1).

As long as we're stuck with the crappy wxWidgets framework that's not going to happen. However with the new code it is possible to create any number of new styles with differently sized icons. But they can't be made adjustable.

Why not let the different sets of Icons take their turn being default in the various upcoming beta releases? This gives the users a chance to really try them out, and then, closer to the release of 3.2, have a new vote.

I have been trying the new ui styles for the last few days. I prefer the Journeyman style. The chart piano bar is nice.

It is possible to combine the Traditional Icons with the less intrusive piano bar of the Journeyman styles. Should be pretty self explanatory in the XML file.
