Vessel Symbols

I am a newbie in using OpenCPN. I have set up a receiving station using an rtl-sdr receiver and using OpenCPN as a viewer. I have it up and running and downloaded charts but can't find any info for the vessel symbols that appear and what they mean. Any help would be appreciated.
