Vertical line in Pacific

This seems silly, but there are vertical and horizontal lines on my CM93 chart, every 40 degrees or so. They don't interfere with navigation, but they also don't look good. Is there any way I can get rid of them?

You can get rid of them with a shovel. They only go a few feet deep in the water.

They are Australian Walls. Keep you foreigners out.

That's equates to squares of 2400nm x 2400nm.. or less on the longtitude depending on your latitude.. do they go when you zoom in to a working size..??

cm93 breaks the world into 40x40 cells. If you change vector chart display to 'base' do you still see them?

Thanks, Boat Alexandra! It turns out, any setting except "all" for Vector Chart Display/Display Category works. I thought I had it set for Mariner's Standard anyway, so that's what I put it back to.

Although, now that I'm thinking of those lines as walls to keep the Aussies out (that the Aussies will pay for), I'm not sure I want to tear them down :-)
