I upgraded the other day from the app store to my Samsung A8 tablet. I have been using OpenCPN for years. With this update OpenCPN keeps "losing its mind" and is not able to properly display RNC charts. I cannot zoom in/out without all kind of chart "skew" problems. Sometimes I lose the charts altogether. The only solution seems to be to do a chart update, rebuild the database but then later this will happen again. It makes the app virtually unusable. Along with this I have found that my routes as displayed start to seriously degrade, shift, stretch, distort and "duplicate" on the screen (i took a screen shot). I don't know what to do and (from the app store at least) there is no way to roll back the update. I read about issue with chart folders and Android 11 and did move the files and do a migration to see if that helped - no joy. All the settings seem correct, but something is very unstable. I am out of ideas.

What version of Android is this device running?
Also, what Version of OpenCPN is indicated when you press the "?" tool on the toolbar?

Some thing like "5.6.2[XX]" ?

Thanks for the quick reply. It is Android 11. The device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. The OpenCPN version is 5.6.2[99]

And do you happen to remember what your last version was?
And, what raster charts are you using?

I do not know what version has been running. The charts were downloaded using the chart Downloader. I am using the RNC charts for USCG districts 5 and 7. Note that I also use this for planning on windows, downloading the same charts.i then export my routes to the tablet. There don't seem to be issues with windows - dunno if that means anything
