ALT+drag works to move the toolbar...

Very frustrating v5.0:

So how can I move the toolbars? The chart bar is locked to the upper left corner and the main toolbar is vertical, not horizontal, and locked to the center of the computer display: I can move OC around the screen but the toolbar is stuck in the middle of the screen...

Alternatively how can I downgrade to 4.8.8? Can't find any sources for that...

I can't get the new toolbars to behave:

and of course now all the google results don't help since they haven't been updated in over 15 months... :-(

Trying to Google this problem just brings up pages and pages of the outdated manual, and searching this forum doesn't help since the problem is new...

Yes, the main tool bar is now left, vertical - and collapsable --> three bars (or Big Mac). And theme or Icons have changed...
In the center of the screen? No way.

Many display related items are accessed by the canvas tool bar in the lower right.

Did you try the split canvas option?
