VentureFarther images not downloading

Hello all,
I hope your collective wisdom can solve a problem i have encountered. I have Open CPN installed and recently updated to the latest version however my problem existed before the update and persisted after.
I have a paid subscription to VentureFarther and have previously had no issue downloading satellite images. However When I have tried recently the download begins and two seconds later the box closes. Briefly it says image saved to folder, however nothing is in the folder. Previously it would download and take 10 seconds or so depending on the file size and then be visible on the screen for viewing. I have logged into the Venture Farther website and I can download the charts there so it doesn't seem to be an issue with my login or account.
I have uninstalled and installed the plug in and no change. I also generated a new API key and tried pasting it into the preference box but it doesn't give an option to save it.

Has anyone experience anything like this? I don't know if its a setting on my laptop, Ocpn or VentureFarther.

v3.0.0 is now in the catalog. One problem - it is not retaining the preferences. If you could test whether v3.0.0 works for you. Sorry about the pain of reinserting the API key each time, and the download folder. Working on this.

Hi Mike,

I’ve updated and everything seems to be working as before.
The API key only needed to be entered once and the saving of the file also is as before.
Whatever wizardry you have performed seems to be 100% effective!

The latest version of VF that I see on your website and the OpenCPN catalog is 2.1.1.7. How do I get to v3.1.1?

Not sure what version of OpenCPN you are using but use Options->plugins. At the bottom of the dialog there is a button Update Plugin Catalog:master.

Use this to download the latest catalog.

Select the VFKaps plugin line. You should get an option to upgrade to v3.1.0.
