v 5.12.4 O-charts plugin

I have loaded v 5.12.4 on a Samsung N110 netbook running 32 bit MX-Linux.
GPS and GNSS NMEA-0183 data is streaming in using two usb GPS pucks and Bluetooth. CM93 charts are installed and displaying correctly.


Updating the Plugin Catalogue reports 'Successful', but there are only four Plugins: ChartDownloader, Dashboard, Grib and WMM.


Can anyone help me with a method of installing the O-chart plugin on a 32 bit Debian based Linux machine?

Unfortunately there is no more o-charts plugin for 32bits systems :

this dates from 2022... when oesenc (the forerunner of o-charts) didn't provide anymore closed source binary and library for 32 bits systems

(I had to buy then a new 64bits laptop to use OpenCPN... even if my 32 bits still worked perfectly for OpenCPN until this bad surprise !)



I suppose you are running OpenCPN inside flatpak :
ChartDownloader, Dashboard, Grib and WMM are bundled plugins of OpenCPN ... they have been adapted and rebuilt with OpenCPNto be compliant with the last version of flatpak

Unfortunately most of the other plugins are not compliant with the last version of flatpak : their sources need to be adapted they need to be rebuilt and then they will appear in the catalogue
