UWTROC and safety depth

The depth given for an underwater rock is not highlighted when it is less than the safety depth. In the attached image, the UWTROC SE of Evoralls Point has a VALSOU of 0.6 m. My safety depth is set to 3 m and the 0.8 m sounding in The Waterhole is highlighted (bold font), but the 0.6 m is faint.
Is there any way that the depths of underwater rocks can be highlighted when they are less than the safety depth?
I am using the oesenc version of Australian charts, OpenCPN V 5.8.4 on an android tablet and a Windows 10 Laptop. Both give the same result.

Re: UWTROC and safety depth

I think this should be considerd a bug. It looks as if the soundings for a wreck are still using the 'old' way of printing soundings (bitmap)
I made a bug report.

Thanks rooiedirk. Where is the bug report? Is there any way of following its progress?

Re: UWTROC and safety depth

Dirk...
We would not consider this to be a bug.
The depth value presented is correct.
Visibility and rendering could certainly be improved, in several ways. This would be treated as an RFE, or "Request for Enhancement".
Spoiler: Probably not going to make it into upcoming OCPN release.

Sorry

Re: UWTROC and safety depth

Not sure where this has gone, but the WRECKS object should be added. It has a VALSOU which is not highlighted when under the safety depth.
