Using the Wind History function

I am using the Dashboard Plug-in and it seems to work well except I can't get the wind history plot to work. I see it uses TRUE Wind output, however, I can only get apparent wind to display. Is it looking for a NMEA sentence that is not being received? I have a Raymarine e-series with networked wind instrument outputting to a nmea multiplexer to which opencpn is connected. I have the Raymarine unit set to output all available nmea sentences. Why can I get apparent wind, but not true wind??
