USB Ports and Sleep

Hi,
With ubuntu, after every sleep, the number of USB ports on the GPS and AIS change randomly. (/dev/ttyUSB0, or 1 or 2....)
So, It is necessary to change their number in the toolbox
What is the solution to assign a fixed USB number for GPS and AIS ?

eeepc + OpenCPN 2.5 + Unbuntu 10.11 + GPS mouse and AIS (with USB hub)

Re: USB ports and sleep

Seems like you need to read up on "udev".
