Re: Up-to-date vector charts for OpenCPN - oeSENC
I've removed OC-385-J11005.oesenc, but then the program froze at OC-385-H11005.oesenc

Re: Up-to-date vector charts for OpenCPN - oeSENC
Everything woks now just perfect. I like these oeSENC charts of eastern Adriatic coast. Better than CM93 and updated.
I'm fan of OpenCPN project. Thanks, you're great guys.
Cheers

So spread the voice - this project needs users.

Re: Up-to-date vector charts for OpenCPN - oeSENC
Is there a setting somewhere to change the watermark density on the oeSENC charts? They clutter my desktop and make debtreadings unrecognizable.

Re: Up-to-date vector charts for OpenCPN - oeSENC
You have several parameters you can play with to get the appearance that fits best to your needs. See below.
The sliders of details level for quilted charts and the "reduced detail" option.
On small scale you might even switch off the soundings using the "s" key.
Same for lights with "L"
There is no "fit for all" solution when quilting vector charts.

If it's the triangles then unselecting" quality ofndata" in the mariners standard gets rid of them..

All...
You may also de-select "Chart Information Objects" to hide these symbols.

I can confirm that the Windows 10 Creator Update (April 2017) will cause the charts to stop working. A TPM based solution sounds smart. Any roadmap for this?
The O-charts.org site is great for ordering, but not much info about when new charts are to become available. France next, but what about Norway?
Great job you are doing and making vector charts available to an afordable price is the best news for years!
Kjetil.

Re: Up-to-date vector charts for OpenCPN - oeSENC
First the 2007-2 sets are at the shop since Monday.
Second: we will be happy to talk to the Norwegian Hydrographic office.
I think Norwegian has daily flights from Oslo into Barcelona...
W10 is our nightmare - well, not just for us. Working on that.

Thanks for quick answer, by "new" I meant "new areas."
I don't know much about the process, but The Norwegian Hydrographic Service is situated a few NM from where I live here in Stavanger, so I can visit them if it can be of any help. As I understand it they are coordinating ENC’s for several contries:
"The Norwegian Hydrographic Service has operational responsibility for Primar, the international nautical chart service. This supplies official electronic nautical charts for international shipping on behalf of around 40 nations."
Yes, as an IT pro I agree; Win 10 and updates is a challange.
Kjetil.

Hello Hubert
The relevant web page is not too clear about how to update.
First, there should be some information about the availability of updates in the welcome screen, with instructions how to download
I tried the request button under one of my 2017 version. The box showed "2017-2 Processing", then I got the email and I am now downloading the updated chart
So I guessed right ;-)
IMHO, the 'request' button could be in the update column for better clarity
And what about an email to all customers to inform them about the availability of updates ?
