Two finger zoom not working in 5.10.2

Hello.
I know this has been asked but I haven't seen a discussion about the latest 5.10.2 version of O and pinch zoom. I have a touch screen (HDMI with USB for touch). I have just done a fresh install of Bookworm on a Rpi and installed v 5.10.2 of O and the pinch zoom no longer works. It was absolutely fine in previous version (flatpak). Right click works (long click) and and I tested the multitouch function of the screen which shows it supports 5 finger touch.
I'm really happy with a simple OpenCPN install on a standard Bookworm image (Openplotter isn't for me), can I get this working? If not can I install an earlier version of OpenCPN somehow? For me being able to zoom and pan around without having to find the mouse is really handy and it used to work really well.

Please clarify:
Are you using flatpak image, or native?
Currently, our understanding is that two finger zoom is working on flatpak, but not on native Bookworm loads.


Is this your observation?

Hi.
I started on the deb backports. Having just tried flatpak the zoom is working, however the pop up window buttons don't work. For instance, if I bring up the hamburger menu then clicking on it actually moves the map underneath and I can't tick any of the tick boxes. Likewise with the options window. I can't click on anything but I can click and drag it from the top. However, if there is a route plotted on the chart and I bring up the options window it behaves normally. It also seems that if I bring up the options window and make it bigger, or move it towards the top left of the screen then it starts to work. I

You can try Bareboat Necessities OS Lite where two finger zoom works. It’s a smaller image of BBN OS.

Another odd thing is I have a python gui app which pops up on a Pi power button press. That seems to be "transparent" as in it doesn't respond to touch events, the touch events pass straight through to OpenCPN underneath (Sometimes). I haven't found what triggers this behaviour because it doesn't happen all the time, but it is very similar to the hamburger menu appearing "transparent" to touch events. Is it to do with the update to wxWidgets ?
I have been trying to find where to get hold of an earlier version of OpenCPN if someone has a link?
