TP Template Testing Needed

We need to test a new build that Jon has made for Bookworm.
Please download the most recent tarball and "Import Plugin" and advise regarding results.

From cloudsmith testplugin-alpha do this search cloudsmith testplugin-alpha using "1.0.232 wx32 debian bookworm" and download the most recent debian bookworm build please, and test it and report here.

Re: TP Template Testing Needed

Rick/Jon

Willing to test though haven't a clue about this PI yet, just struggling to follow install process.

Downloaded and extracted.
Resultant folder "usr" with included structure same as "usr" folder on computer.

No configure or make files.

Do I just copy these low level extracted files to relevant folders on computer?

Cheers Dave

Re: TP Template Testing Needed

Dave...
Go to OpenCPN's plugin manager and import the tarball there, it should add the plugin to the catalog, then install it from there. No need to decompress and copy the contents anywhere manually.
Rick wants to know a) If it will complain duringthe import and b) in case it didn't complain during the import, whether it works after installation.

I could do a test on Bullseye, 64bit, Raspberry Pi4, if needed. Could not find the appropriate tarball, though.
