Toshiba WT8-B GPS?

I have a Toshiba WT8-B Encore tablet running OpenCPN 5.0.0. I've enabled Win8 location services, and installed and run GeolocationTCP.

GeolocationTCP says: "GNS status: no data".

Maybe this WT8-B doesn't have a GPS chip in it. Is there a way to explicitly check that? Or is there something else I should try?

Hi Paul,
Did you have any luck with this as I have exactly the same problem! I want to check it has GPS and that it works before buying a Navionics app.
