Tidal Stations not showing

Running OpenCPN 4.8.6 Build 1018-08-02 on Windows 7
HARMONIC.IDX shows as an active Tides & Currents dataset
Show Tides menu icon toggled on
Vector Chart Display category is Mariner's Standard
Important Text Only is not checked
Graphics Style set to Simplified

Cursor at Alabama Point, 30 16.6422 N 087 33.2313 W

The GPS is not plugged into the PC, so OpenCPN doesn't know the current boat location.

There is supposed to be a Tidal Station near this cursor location. I'm not seeing it nor any Tidal Station anywhere.

What am I doing wrong?

This is my first attempt at use of Tide & Currents and I have read file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/OpenCPN/doc/toolbar_buttons/tides_and_currents.html

Re: Tidal Stations not showing

The actual version of OCPN is 5.x --- OpenCPN version 4.8.6. Released August 2, 2018
Chasing bugs or issues with settings is always easier when being on the up-to-date version.

BoatHunting,

I don't see a Tide Station at Perdido Pass, between (or near) Alabama Point and Florida Point.

Zooming out, We can see Tide Stations to the west and to the east.

Re: Tidal Stations not showing

Thanks Paul.

Your screen shots show what I should be seeing and am not seeing.

I may not be using the latest greatest OpenCPN. I'm going to attempt an update and try again.
