Thumbdrive PCs and OpenCPN

A few cheap, very very small computers with little power requirements have come to the market over the last few months.

These are marketed as Android sticks or smart TV sticks but can also run different Linux distributions. They consume so little power that they are perfect always-on PCs onboard.

Specifically I am talking about the MK802
Cheap: ~70 USD, sometimes less on eBay
Small: like a fat USB thumbdrive
Power: 1 to 3 Watt

CPU: A10 (ARM) 1GHz Cortex-A8
Video: HDMI 1080p
1GB RAM
4GB SSD
WiFi b/g/n
3x USB

Beside Android 4 it can run a few linux distros (see here)
Lubuntu 12.04
Ubuntu 12.04
XUbuntu 12.04
Fedora 17
PuppyLinux

There are others like MK808, UG802, Mele A1000

Has anyone ever tried to run OpenCPN on such a device?
Do you think it's possible?

Thanks!!

I know that you get OpenCPN to run (barely) on Raspberry PI, although I never got vector charts to work. The hw you mention should work better, as I believe the biggest limitation of the PI is the RAM. You might also want to try MX Mariner on Android, as the specs you have should be plenty for that..
