Text on charts

With the Text ENC-button I can puch on/off text/names of locations . But there is a number of XXXDEG all over the chart. Really dont need that.Want to get rid of it. Anyone know how to do that and keep tne names of islands, villages ...?

Those compass course are indicated for "Recommended Track" features in the chart. They seem to appear most numerously in Scandinavia. Most handy in the fog....

You may select Display Category = Mariners Standard, and then de-select "Recommended Tracks" in Options->Charts->VectorCharts->Mariners Standard listbox.

I am also using the cm93v2 charts but cannot seem to see any place/harbor/island names.. I have everything checked in the options>charts>vector settings...

example attached, any ideas anyone?..

Try to click on that icon saying "A" in the toolbar...

Hi Pavel,

thanks for your help.. in that area/level of detail when I click on A I get this..no sure if this is some sort of clue or not.

Most areas of the chart I get nothing when I click on A

oops,

figured it out. Selecting "important text only" in fact pretty much removes all text from the chart.
