Out of open data, I create different gpx-files to load in
OpenCPN with (among other things) buoy-information for the Dutch inland waters with custom icons.
I can load those permanantly as Waypoints and I can load them temporarily as a Layer.
The first one works nicely for buoy-information because you allways want them to be visible ;-)
The last one is very nice because I can swith on/off the layers, with additional information, as I please but......
When closing
OpenCPN and starting her up again, she has forgotten all about my Temporary layers and, if I want to use them again, I have to load them all over again
.
Maybe there's a way to "save" those Temporary layers to be reloaded after a restart, but if so.... I haven't found it yet so I guess it's not there (yet).
So that's my feature-request.... please make it possible to remember the Temporary layers?!
And as an extra, it would be nice to be able to sort the Temporary Layers when they add up to a lot ;-)
