Very interesting! I wonder why the Danish authorities have been so slow in coming up with a positive answer. Hopefully, they will come up with attractive pricing conditions ... Anyway: Better late than never!

The idea is 35€ (ex VAT) the first year - including weekly updates - and a 22€ extension for the second and following years.
Depending on GST fares..

A you see, we are optimistic to be here in 2020 still

Good News. Well Done. Thank you Hubert & Co.!
Pricing for the Danish maps seems to be fair.
I was a little concerned, before I got this information!
I'm anxious to see the level of details of the official charts.
I have been using Navionics and C-Map on tablet and Plotter, and PC.
I was surprised to learn, that Navionics has more details than the official Swedish maps ...
But I just made a few samples, however.
Will try to compare more systematic over the coming months.
But it is nice to have official, updated charts on OpenCPN!

One question on the availability of Danish charts:
Will there be another crowd funding project?
Or do you expect to release the charts around July 1. at the stated pricing?

We can confirm oeSENC Denmark starting July, 1st.
No crowdfunding required.

Due to last minute changes on interpretations of the terms of the licenses we will start with a complete set for 24€.

This set will not allow for any updates - be aware!

The next step will be to study what we need to get updatable Danish sets in the future. This is perhaps not ideal, but we want to close quickly an important gap in the chart coverage for OpenCPN.
