Storing settings

Re. Settings in open cpn 5
Is it not possible to store the settings you make. Every time I start I have to set distance to nautical miles and the speed to knots.(it starts with kilometer and km/h). This is under units in the settings meny. Same with the display, it starts in the dark view. I have tried to click the "apply" and/or "OK" but it does not help.

Bo,

It seems that you have "Use Inland ECDIS V2.3" enabled. This is a feature needed by the canal barge operators on European inland waterways.

You can turn that feature off. Select "Options" under the top left menu symbol (hamburger). Then select the "User Interface" tab. Remove the checkmark from the "Use Inland ECDIS V2.3" line.

Re: Storing settings

Thanks for info. I'll try that next time I will go out sailing. It will be in a weeks time.
Thanks again,
