SignalK Alerts

SignalK can send NOAA weather alerts and others. They do display in SignalK KIP dashboard. It would be nice to receive and show them in OpenCPN.
Not everyone runs KIP dashboard all the time.

This would be valuable in general, not only for weather alerts. For example SK N2K connectivity maps N2K alarms to SK notifications and Victron Venus produces notifications.

The advantage of O here is that it is a real application, not a webapp running in the browser like KIP or SK InstrumentPanel, that have limited abilities to notify the user.

Does O have notification/alert handling capabiities in the core?
