Signal K Development Status

Hello,

I noticed that there was discussion on this forum in October about developing support for Signal K, and that OpenCPN is listed as supporting software (SIGNAL Kool: Signal K Products). However, I haven't found any information on how to connect OpenCPN to my systems using Signal K. I was hoping someone could provide some information on the current status of development.
