selecting the mail service for GRIB requests

I really like the new GRIB request feature but I would like to be able to change the mail system I use for the GRIB requests. I normally use Mozilla Thunderbird when in port and on land-based internet but I want the GRIB request to use the email service I use when offshore and using the satellite phone for my internet connection (Xgate). Does anyone know how to nominate the Xgate mail service to be used by the GRIB request. It currently defaults to the Thunderbird system. I am using a Windows 8 laptop.
Thanks...Jill

Re: selecting the mail service for GRIB requests

Jill...
Can you explain us what you mean with a bit more detail? It has been years since I used XGate, but if I remember correctly, it just worked as a local mailserver which then somehow pushed the mails through the sat link. If it is still like that, there is nothing we can/should do about it on OpenCPN's side.
