Save sail performance data

Hi,

I'm configuring a boat computer and use a Raspberry PI 64 bits Raspian bullseye system. I look now into how to save sailing performance data, ideally to InfluxDB. My approach is to use the data available in Dashboard_Tactics_Pi and use the built in function InfluxDB_Out instrument. When loaded the instrument states "No template". I don't see the data file supposed to be wrritten on the file system nor get any connection in InfluxDB. The log files are not showing any records of errors.

I've installed OpenCPN (5.6.0) via Flatpak and use the available plugin for Dashboard_Tactics_Pi (1.6.11) in the plugin manager. I've also tried to compile Dashboard_Tactics_Pi 2.0.3 from the source code. The code compile nicely but the plugin is not available in OpenCPN.

I guess the challenges have to do with Flatpak and that the file path are not pointing to a proper location.

Are there some other way to send performance data to InfluxDB or is there a way to manage this on the OpenCPN installation in Flatpak?
- Send the data as a stream to Signal K and write it that way to InfluxDB?
- Use a function in Signal K to calculate sailing performance based on polar data?

Re: Save sail performance data

Solved by compiling the code for OpenCPN and Dashboard_Tactics_pi locally on the arm64. Now the plugin appears as it should and streaming of data is on.

Struggle now a bit to have the data loaded into influxdb. The OpenCPN log looks ok but the nmea bucket does not show any data.

Code:
20:47:02.334 MESSAGE StreamoutSingle.cpp:798 dashboard_tactics_pi: streamout: written to socket:
POST /api/v2/write?org=myOrg&bucket=nmea&precision=ms HTTP/1.1
