Re: Sasplanet/sat2chart issues

I think the problem is that your configuration for SasPlanet should not include the SASPlanet.ini on the end.

Attached is what my SasPlanet config page (In Sat2Chart) looks like.

You need to go to C:\SASPlanet\SAS.Planet\ and see what is there. It should be a folder full of stuff, and you should find SasPlanet.ini there. If you don't find what looks like a normal SasPlanet folder, do a search for SasPlanet.ini and see where it is.

Run the SasPlanet.exe from that folder, and make sure it starts up and runs without error. Then put the path to that folder in the SasPlanet config tab in Sat2Chart.

Previous downloads of SAS Planet from Paul's site would unzip as SasPlanet_GDAYII (I think), and if so, verify that is where it is, and point to that in your Sat2Chart SasPlanet config page.

You may have multiple installations of SAS at different levels in that SASPlanet folder, or on your C: drive, if you tried to upgrade.

If you are having problems, I would suggest you re-download the version of SASPlanet from the Sat2Chart site.
https://gdayii.ca/Downloads/

If you unzip it and point the unzip to C:\, it will unzip to C:\SasPlanet\ (I think).

Good luck, hope this helps

Re: Sasplanet/sat2chart issues

Thanks for the reply, I just uninstalled everything & reinstalled it all, all working fine, the only thing that seems to be different is that now takes twice as long to download made charts as before it was downloaded pretty much straight away.

Cheers Rod.
