Re: SasPlanet
I've copied the below zmp files (taken from geojamal website) into Sasplanet downloaded from Paul's website.
Navionics is now visible also on Paul's Sasplanet and it works also with Sat2chart but only as Map and not Layer.
I do not how to solve it.
I'm fully aware that my approach is absolutely not correct (trial and error) but I do not know what is behind the sw
I will wait Paul new release and thank you again to everybody are really contribuiting to mbtiles development

Re: SasPlanet
I'm new to SAS Planet and couldn't get Navionics to work on Paul's version. So I went the other way by downloading the latest version from the geojamal site which had a Navionics fix, then copying some of Paul's map files across (I was particularly interested in the shaded Cmap imagery). All works fine now.

Hi elan333,
Do you have the link for the zmp files on Geojamal? I can't seem to find them.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
Here the link (I’ve used it couple of weeks ago and it was working)

The download site for Paul's version of SasPlanet is

This is tweaked to work with Sat2Chart, but it might solve your issue.
Download the SasPlanet.zip file and unzip to C:\

Hello to everybody,
just a short updating after many attempts and with the great great great support of Jon Hacking (I will never stop to thank him)
Target: create mbtiles, selecting a polygonal zone with Sasplanet, having map = satellite (e.g.: Bing) and layer = Navionics, multi zoom levels (e.g.: 14-17)
With Sasplanet alone evrything works fine ! Good
With Sat2chart the Navionics layer, even if during the process are visible all the navionics windows, is available only with the lower zoom level (e.g.: 14) and partially and some higher zoom levels.
I do not know the reason but this is what appening to me

p.s.: the others folders/file under Maps are little bit different than the one I've downloaded; there are .zmp folders contain some files while I've downloaded only 2 .zmp files, I have for sure made something wrong
Thanks

you can make a combined mbtiles map with satellite and sea map in sasplanet without sat2chart.
Sat2Chart, in my opinion, does not know how to apply an overlay layer and only makes a multi-map from different sources onto the layer.
update to latest nightly build

Thanks Baikal,
as I’ve said no problem with Sasplanet but I would like to use Transas also with Sat2chart as per all the others maps/layers.
I do not know if the “problem” is due to a different format (file vs folder) of zmp Transas vs the others maps/layers
Thank you for your assistance

Baikal, sorry if I come back again but I would like to understand why I'm not able to work with Sat2chart using Transas map or layer.
Sat2chart works properly with all other combinations (e.g.: map=Bing, layer = Navionics) and then I do not understand why it can not be possible with Transas.
Ok with Sasplanet is possible but with Sat2chart is much more fast.
As I said the only different I'm able to understand is the form of zmp files instead of folders
Thanks

Thank you Franziska for your reply.
Unfortunately I've read the thread many times.
Everything goes perfectly both with Sasplanet and Sat2chart, Navionics charts included (both as map and layer)
The only issue I have is the one I've described (not able to use Transas with Sat2chart (with Sasplanet is ok)
Thank you for your assistance

A zmp file is basically a zip archive. At least on linux I can extract it.
