Sailboat electronics

Opencpn is a neat concept. I currently have a toughbook running Windows 7 collecting some dust. And a sailboat I'd love to fill with electronics.
From all I googled I found information in multiple languages that suggest it can act a ais recevier, gps/chartplotter, radar?, control a Autopilot, weather fax.

Im hoping to gather information on what windows 7 compatible hardware options exist.
Id love for it to talk with a tiller Auto pilot as well.
I've been looking at some commercial products
But looks like I can possibly do much more for less with opencpn. Maybe someone can give me some pointers as to what would make a good setup using opencpn?

Razburn, It is more than an idea. Download it and install a gps puck and start learning.
