Albro...

Interesting. This one gives a slightly different error signature.
I will investigate further.

Thanks
Dave

Re: S63 Fingerprint issues

Albro..
In the latest log we see:

Code:
8:59:07.241 MESSAGE s63chart.cpp:140 s63_pi: Checking OCPNsenc utility at {C:\Users\Alan Leslie\AppData\Local\opencpn\plugins\s63_pi\OCPNsenc.exe}
 18:59:07.242 ERROR utilsexc.cpp:873 Execution of command 'C:\Users\Alan Leslie\AppData\Local\opencpn\plugins\s63_pi\OCPNsenc.exe -a' failed
 (error 193: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.)
This is a new error message.

So please try direct access from cmd prompt as before:

"C:\Users\Alan Leslie\AppData\Local\opencpn\plugins\s63_pi\OCPNse nc.exe" -a

Thanks
Dave

Re: S63 Fingerprint issues

Albro...

Some trouble. Either the wrong logfile uploaded, or the s63_pi did not import correctly.
I added a line to the log, which I do not see in the logfile you have attached:

Code:
17:02:17.614 MESSAGE s63chart.cpp:174 s63_pi: Validate cmd: "C:\Users\HP\AppData\Local\opencpn\plugins\s63_pi\OCPNsenc.exe" -a

Something like this line (i.e. "Validate cmd....") should appear on attempting to create an FPR.

Please verify your logfile.
Also, it will be somewhat easier to work with logfiles if you delete the current logfile before starting a test with a new s63_pi. A new logfile will be created as required.

Thanks
Dave

Re: S63 Fingerprint issues

Alan,

in the ProgramData\opencpn directory you will find a directory called plugins\cache with subdirectories \tarballs and \metadata.
Please clear the content of those two directories. Next download and install the version provisoned by Dave again.

Re: S63 Fingerprint issues

All...
For closure on this.
After a remote debugging session (using Anydesk, recommended), we found that Alan's system is indeed sensitive to spaces in user name, at least from s63_pi perspective. I do not understand why, but will investigate.

Anyway, instant problem fixed in the s63_pi plugin, and I will publish update shortly.

Thanks for all the help
Dave
