Route Manager Problems

I am using Win7 Home Edition and OpenCpn 2.3.1. I find the Route Manager tool is very slow opening. The rest of the program is fine. Has anyone any solutions?

How many waypoints/routes/tracks do you have?

One route open with maybe 6 waypoints - very small. I get the feeling that the system is searching the hard disk for the file as the disk is "chattering" during the delay. Roger

When was the last time you did a defrag of your hard drive?

Hi John. Disk is 0% fragmented so I cannot believe that is the problem. On the previous version of CPN Route Manager was fine. It’s only since installing the latest version that the delay has appeared. Also if I right-click on a route the Route Properties screen opens instantaneously.

Maybe the next release will solve the problem. I think it has something to do with the version of Win7 we are using. I know that some applications won’t work on Home Version. Roger
